Google access

Connect only what your follow-up system needs.

Some 828 Pros workflows use Google OAuth so a client can approve access without sharing a password. The permission screen belongs to Google. Read it carefully and approve only the account and scope you expect.

Permission summary

What the Gmail connection is for.

Requested access

Gmail read-only

The intended Blackfoot setup uses https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly. That is for reading Gmail messages, threads, labels, and metadata needed to map workflow and follow-up.

Not requested

No send, delete, or mailbox changes

The Blackfoot Gmail workflow should not request permission to send mail, delete mail, modify messages, or take over the account. If Google shows broader access, stop and contact Jared.

Connection provider

Google OAuth with Composio

828 Pros may use Composio as a secure OAuth connection layer. That means the password stays with Google; the connection token is used only for the approved workflow.

Revocation

You stay in control

You can revoke access from Google Account permissions or Workspace Admin controls. You can also ask 828 Pros to disconnect the integration.

Client safety note: If you see “This app is blocked,” do not try to work around it. That usually means Google or the Workspace administrator needs to trust the 828 Pros OAuth app first.
